Direct Cremation, Attended

An Attended Direct Cremation gives the family an opportunity for up to six mourners to say their final Goodbye’s and to spend a few moments with the coffin in private, in our Chapel of Rest. There is opportunity for music to be played in the Chapel and if desired, your Funeral Director will lead a short blessing of the coffin. Find out more

Direct Cremation, Un-attended

£1,195 – All Inclusive

Where a funeral service is not required, a direct cremation is a cheaper option to a traditional funeral service. Family’s who choose a Direct Cremation will receive exactly the same professional, dignified and high quality care that we offer all our families but without an actual funeral service.
Our All-Inclusive price for Direct Cremation includes the transfer of your loved one into our care, anytime of day or night. All arrangements and Doctor’s fees, preparation of your loved one and supply of a simple coffin which is suitable for cremation. Provision of your loved one to the crematorium and all crematorium fees are included. We will deliver your loved ones ashes to your home at a time that is convenient to you or we can arrange scattering of the ashes within the crematoriums Garden of Remembrance.

Whats included in this all-inclusive package?

  • 24-hour professional, high quality care and support for you and your loved one in our funeral home
  • To bring your loved one into our care from their place of rest, anytime of day or night, seven days per week
  • Making of all arrangements and completion of the necessary legal documents in line with statutory regulation
  • All arrangements to be made over the telephone with your dedicated and experienced funeral director
  • All Doctor’s fees are included
  • Preparation of your loved one in their own personal clothes or in our Bespoke gown
  • Provision of a simple coffin suitable for cremation in either a light oak effect or a mahogany effect with matching moulds
  • Arrangement of an un-attended committal at the crematorium
  • Conveyance of your loved one to the crematorium on the day of the funeral
  • Your dedicated funeral director and all necessary bearers & staff on the day of the funeral
  • All cremation fees are included
  • Collection of your loved ones ashes & cremation certificate. Your choice of:
    • Delivery of your loved ones ashes to your home at a time & date suitable for you
    • The scattering or interment of the ashes within the crematoriums Gardens of Remembrance
    • Alternatively we’ll look after your loved ones ashes for an indefinite period of time without charge

Direct Cremation, Attended

£1,595 – All Inclusive

An Attended Direct Cremation is very similar to an Un-attended Direct Cremation however it provides the family with an opportunity for up to six mourners to say their final Goodbye’s and to spend a few moments with the coffin in private, in our Chapel of Rest. This can be arranged Monday to Thursday, at a mutually agreed time which can include evenings if you prefer.  There is opportunity for music to be played in the Chapel and if desired, your Funeral Director will lead a short blessing of the coffin. We will deliver your loved ones ashes to your home at a time and date suitable for you or arrange scattering or interment of ashes within the Crematoriums Garden of Remembrance.

Whats included in this all-inclusive package?

In addition to the Direct Cremation above:

  • Opportunity for up to six mourners to view the coffin in our Chapel of Rest for up to 30 minutes before leaving the Chapel
  • Provision of music to be played in the Chapel, if desired
  • Provision of a Funeral Director to lead a short blessing of the coffin, if desired
  • All cremation fee’s and Doctor’s fees are included
